3. Product application
Hydroxypropyl Methacrylate(HPMA); Methacrylic acid, monoester with propane-1,2-diol;
can be copolymerized with acrylic acid and ester, acrolein, acrylonitrile, acrylamide, methacrylonitrile, vinyl chloride, styrene and many other monomers. The product can be used to treat the fiber, improve the water resistance, solvent resistance, wrinkle resistance and water resistance of the fiber; it can also be used to make thermosetting coating with excellent performance, synthetic rubber, lubricating oil additive, etc. In the aspect of adhesive, copolymerization with vinyl monomers can improve the adhesive strength. In paper processing, acrylic emulsion used for coating can improve its water resistance and strength. It can be used as active diluent and crosslinker in radiation curing system, resin crosslinker, plastic and rubber modifier.
